As Mark Cuban writes on his Blog Maverick, being a whiner has made him the (billionaire) man he is today... and is better than being "a punching bag guy, in a punching bag life." Ouch!
Sure it's annoying hanging around people who bitch and complain, but whiners with initiative usually change the world. As Robert Heinlein said in Time Enough For Love: "Progress isn't made by early risers. It's made by lazy men trying to find easier ways to do something." I'm proud to be a whiner, too. Usually it's led to better things.
